Deepsight wins Silver at the 2026 Globee Awards for Business

We are proud to share that Deepsight, Incode's deepfake detection technology, is a Silver Globee winner at the 16th annual 2026 Globee Awards for Business. Deepsight won in the Cybersecurity, Safety, or Digital Trust Product or Service of the Year category.

In this post, you'll learn what the Globee Awards recognize, why deepfake detection has become essential to identity verification, and how Deepsight detects deepfakes and injection attacks in real time.

What the 2026 Globee Awards for Business recognize

The Globee Awards run 10 international awards programs that recognize companies, products, and people. The Globee Awards for Business honor achievement across industries, from AI and enterprise software to fintech and healthcare. Independent judges, including business leaders, industry experts, and professionals from around the world, evaluate every nomination through a merit-based process.

Deepsight's win in a program this broad reflects how far deepfakes have spread beyond the identity verification industry. Deepfake fraud is now a concern for any organization that onboards customers, authenticates employees, or verifies age online.

Why deepfake detection matters for identity verification

Deepfakes have shifted from viral curiosities to one of the most effective tools fraudsters have. Hyper-realistic face swaps can fool basic liveness checks, the step that confirms a real person is in front of the camera. Fraudsters also use injection attacks, where a virtual camera feeds manipulated video straight into the verification flow instead of a live camera feed.

These attacks move at machine speed and scale globally, which makes them nearly impossible to catch by eye or through manual review. Business leaders saw the risk coming. In Experian's 2025 Identity and Fraud report, 72% of business leaders said they expected AI-generated fraud, including deepfakes, to be a top operational challenge by 2026.

How Deepsight detects deepfakes and injection attacks

Deepsight is a multimodal AI system, meaning it analyzes several kinds of data at once, including video, motion, and depth. It assesses each identity session across three layers:

  • Behavioral layer: Spots subtle interaction anomalies that point to AI bots or fraud farms.
  • Integrity layer: Verifies that the camera and device are authentic, blocking virtual cameras and injected media.
  • Perception layer: Separates deepfakes from genuine people by analyzing video, motion, and depth together.

Combined, these layers can even identify the fingerprint of the generative AI model used to create a fake. Deepsight completes its analysis in under 100 milliseconds, so genuine users move through verification without added friction.

Deepsight is available through the Incode Identity Platform. It protects know your customer (KYC) onboarding, step-up verification, authentication, workforce access, and age verification.

What's next for deepfake defense as AI agents act online

As AI systems increasingly interact and transact on their own, the ability to separate real people from AI-generated fakes in an instant becomes critical. Deepsight anchors Incode's broader research into identity and trust for this shift, including Agentic Identity, which connects verified humans to the AI agents acting on their behalf.

Generative models will keep improving, and so will the attacks built on them. Incode will keep training Deepsight to detect new models and attack techniques as they appear, so organizations can trust that the person on the other side of the screen is real.
