Incode Named a 2026 Prism Refractor and Resilient Trust Leader

We are proud to share that Incode has been named a Prism Refractor and Resilient Trust Leader in the 2026 Biometric Digital Identity Financial Services Prism Report, published by The Prism Project. The Prism Project is an independent research and market education initiative from Acuity Market Intelligence. Its evaluations draw on public data, surveys, interviews, and confidential briefings across hundreds of organizations.

In the 2026 report, Incode was recognized as the highest-scoring Luminary in the Core Identity Technology Beam, one of eight beams the report uses to map the biometric digital identity ecosystem. The Refractor designation is reserved for the single highest-scoring vendor in each Beam.

What Makes Incode a Resilient Trust Leader?

The 2026 Financial Services Prism Report acknowledged Incode's vertically integrated AI platform spanning biometric identity verification, liveness detection, document authentication, identity orchestration, and fraud intelligence, all in one cohesive platform. Most other identity verification (IDV) solutions provide a stack built from third-party tools and services.

It also mentioned Incode's proprietary AI models, which have performed more than seven billion identity trust checks as of August 2026, with over 400 million identity profiles worldwide.

Finally, the report mentioned Incode's private-by-design architecture, which enables the platform to meet rising consumer expectations about privacy while helping organizations meet their trust and compliance goals.

Why The Prism Recognition Matters

This year's report introduces a new lens for the industry: the Prism Resilient Trust Pyramid. This model extends the traditional Triangle of Trust, which focuses exclusively on issuers (governments and other sources of ID), holders (consumers), and verifiers (organizations), to also include an always-on point of IDV: biometrics.

The timing makes sense. As agentic AI begins initiating transactions, making decisions, and interacting autonomously across banking, lending, and digital asset ecosystems, financial institutions face a harder question than document fraud alone. They need to know a real human is behind a given action at all times.

Resilient identity now has to unite privacy protection and regulatory compliance with defense against deepfakes, synthetic identities, and injection attacks. Both have to hold at once, across onboarding, authentication, and every high-risk transaction that follows.

How Incode Is Built for The Resilient Trust Pyramid Shift

The document authentication depth from AuthenticID and the privacy-preserving cryptography layer from Identiq support Incode's proprietary network intelligence architecture, which lets financial institutions detect fraud patterns across institutional boundaries without exposing customer data or surrendering data sovereignty.

AI-generated personas, deepfakes, and agentic fraud all require continuous verification that a human is actually present, not just identified. Incode is prioritizing partnerships where continuous trust is the ultimate goal. The report specifically called this out by mentioning Incode's collaboration with Interac, in which liveness detection is paired with network-level fraud intelligence to strengthen IDV while keeping friction low for legitimate customers.
