We made these privacy decisions at Incode’s inception. Thanks to
emerging regulations and AI, they’re now more relevant than ever.
Decision 01
AI-first identity verification
Every set of human eyes on sensitive data carries a privacy risk. The industry accepted that as the cost of doing business. From day one, Incode made a different decision: minimize human access to biometric and identity data by design. Our AI-powered verification, liveness detection, and document-matching solutions are built to reduce manual review in the standard flow.
Most verification processes send sensitive data off the user's device, creating continuous exposure. We remove that risk. For highly privacy-sensitive flows like age verification, our latest AI models process biometrics directly on the user's own device, with no tradeoff on accuracy or security. Sensitive data never needs to leave the user's environment to complete a verification.
Through the acquisition of Identiq, institutions can now detect repeat fraud patterns across a network without pooling or exposing customer personal data. Identiq brings nearly a decade of R&D and more than $50 million invested in patented privacy-enhancing technology. There are no central data lakes and no data brokerage, so the design minimizes the attack surface that traditional fraud collaboration once required.
Privacy-first architecture is the protection layer your customers demand. Discover how Incode's AI-first identity verification platform reduces fraud while remaining private and compliant.
