Employee onboarding

Onboard verified employees from day one

One guided ID and selfie check verifies every new hire before day one, so the person who starts is the person you hired.

The problem

The person you hired may not be the person who showed up

Traditional hiring and IT systems verify credentials, not the identity of the person using them. Deepfake interviews, stolen candidate profiles, and hijacked MFA resets walk straight through a credentials-only defense.

How it works

Verified once, authenticated at every critical moment

The foundation

Three intelligences. One orchestrated flow.

Industrial fraud does not fall to a single model. Every check on this page runs on three capability layers working as one, and the flow you build here extends across the whole customer lifecycle.

Explore the platform

Document intelligence

Reads and validates identity documents from 200+ countries, catching forgery, tampering, and AI-generated fakes.

Biometric intelligence

Confirms a real, live person matches the document, with facial recognition ranked at 99% success in NIST testing.

Data intelligence

Cross-checks government registries, sanctions lists, and network fraud signals in real time.

Beyond day one

The verified identity your whole lifecycle reuses

The onboarding check becomes a reusable credential for every workforce moment after it.

Frequently asked questions

What is Know Your Employee (KYE)?

Know Your Employee (KYE) is a risk-based approach to verifying employee identity throughout the employment lifecycle, at hiring, onboarding, system access, and re-authentication, ensuring that the person doing the work is who they claim to be.

What is the difference between KYC and KYE?

KYC (Know Your Customer) applies to external customers in regulated industries. KYE (Know Your Employee) applies to internal staff: verifying employees, contractors, and freelancers to prevent internal fraud, impersonation, and unauthorized access.

How does Incode verify remote employees?

Incode performs remote identity verification via mobile or web, scanning a government ID and matching it to a live selfie with liveness detection. The verified identity is stored as a reusable credential for future re-authentication events, from any browser, with no app download.

Why is employee re-verification important?

One-time hiring verification is not enough. Threat actors exploit account recovery, MFA resets, and privileged access requests to impersonate legitimate employees. Continuous re-verification at critical access events closes these gaps.
